Beautiful reference style app: digital pocket reference containing hundreds of phrases (proverbs, wise/wisdom/famous sayings, and idioms) and their meanings.  Proverbs are catchy phrases, often containing advice, wise-words, life lessons, or generalized truism.  In the Slideshow section, you can sit and relax to watch random phrases being shown on the screen in a beautiful format, accompanied by background music (which you can always turn off if you want to).  You can let the app run by itself, displaying random proverbs and phrases while you relax while enjoying the beautiful scenic/picturesque backgrounds.  Some proverbs and phrases can even be interpreted differently in different situations.  where you can browse, discover, explore and learn about the proverbs and idioms, as well as their meanings.  It contains topics such as 'happiness,' 'job,' 'marriage,' 'friendship,' 'business,' 'forgiveness' and even 'funny' and 'ironic.' It's often fun to find 'truism' and 'advice' in the proverbs and sayings.  Explore, read, and mark your favorite proverbs and phrases.  - Phrase list section, containing a list of all the phrases in the app, along with their meanings.  Every phrase and proverbs in this app comes with explanation of their meanings (at least one of the many possible meanings or interpretations).  Some proverbs have evolved and their meanings changed over-time, to follow the passage of time and culture.  Some proverbs even contradict each other, so what sounds like a good advice or seems reflective of life, may not or will not be in other situations.  Many proverbs are decades old, based on experiences and observations, thus they can reflect life experiences & worldview, and make us realize something that we might not realize is going on.  In the Collections section, we categorized the phrases to make it easy (and fun!) to explore various subjects.  You will find that some proverbs contradict each other, and it's interesting to think about the irony.  The Reference section has a searchable database of the phrases.  Their meanings can be interpreted differently by different people, and could have different meanings in different situations.  It's not uncommon to find different meanings and interpretations.  Like a mini-dictionary of phrases which is handy as a reference material.  This app uses American-English (and in some cases Britain-English, with occasional Old English) vocabulary, except the Latin section, which has English explanation.  - Mark your favorite proverbs and return to them later.  Proverbs should not always be taken literally, some require thoughts to discern.  We hope that this app is useful to you to learn and discover many phrases.  It can also help in understanding when certain phrases appear in conversations or books.  You might even smile when you encounter an 'aha' moments as you realize that the words in a proverb reflects on your experiences.  Different people (even experts who studied them) can arrive at differing interpretations as well.  If you're not an English speaker or still learning English, the app might be an educational tool to enhance your vocabulary and broaden your perspective.  The fun/curious part is that they often have peculiarities and double meanings.  The app has 3 sections: Collections, Slideshow and Reference.  Heard a proverb or idiom that you don't understand?
