The 2019 EGPA Conference is an excellent opportunity for all the participants to be engaged with the EGPA Community and to take part to the different activities proposed during the event: pre-conference Symposium for PhD Students and young researchers, plenary sessions with well-known keynote speakers, panels, parallel sessions of the 22 EGPA Permanent Study Groups, the French Speaking Seminar, and other interesting sessions of the newly established consolidated track.  2019 EGPA app will provide you with all the important information details regarding the organization of the Conference as the Conference General Agenda including an overview of the sessions (plenary and parallel) the list of the participants, speakers and chairs of the Permanent Study Groups and seminars.  During the 2019 EGPA Conference we will also organise three parallel panels on the following themes: Panel 1: Brexit, Northern Ireland and Borders; Panel 2: Governance in Contested Cities; Panel 3: The French Speaking Seminar Round Table: Responsive Administrations? A Ballet of Disconnections and Reconnections.  EGPA contributes to the development of science and research ('PA as Science') in public administration through its 22 Permanent Study Groups and its specialized seminars on relevant contemporary themes.  The 2019 EGPA Conference theme is Public Administration across Borders.  The 2019 EGPA app is linked to the participants' information details respecting the regulation on data management and participants' details will only appear if you accept to be visible on the regular list of participants.  The EGPA aims to be the European platform for public administration by bringing together academics and practitioners.  2019 EGPA app will give you access to the complete event information and to all the necessary news about scientific activities and social programme.  EGPA provides a major contribution to IIAS 'mission: to develop public administration and public service at European and global level.  The 2019 EGPA Conference Team will be able to inform you about the last changes of the programme.  This 2019 EGPA app will provide you with the opportunity to contact the participants making easier your networking objectives.  The 2019 EGPA Conference app will facilitate your life during the EGPA Annual Event.  In a time of re-bordering and border shifting, both virtual and real, public administration research has an important role to play in how we understand and shape these transnational developments, especially in the context of Brexit.  You will be able to connect with your colleagues and all the participants of EGPA Community.  GEAP also contributes to the development of the profession ('art and craft') by providing a unique platform for exchanging best practices that support the work of public administrations and practitioners.  The European Group for Public Administration (EGPA) is the regional group of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS).  Other panels and joint sessions of the Permanent Study Groups will be also organized.  You can also have a view on active sessions and presentations during the whole Conference.  We will have distinguished speakers for the opening session dedicated to this topic and stimulating discussions with the audience regarding PA across Borders and the Brexit.  You will have access to information details on the various opportunities for meeting, exchanging and sharing knowledge.  More than 500 academics, practitioners and young researchers will convene during 3- 5 days in Belfast.
