Both procedures optimized to allow the comparison of results with the provided by other studies with conventional tests to measure Contrast Sensitivity Function such as CSV 1000E (version 1) or FACT (version 2).  ClinicCSF is an application to measure the Contrast Sensitivity Function (CSF) at one particular distance.  1.- Contrast Sensitivity Function measurement by two procedures with 3,6,12 and 18 cycles per degree (version 1) or 1.5,3,6,12 and 18 cycles per degree (version 2).  Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.  Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.  This allows measuring the visual performance not only at far distance but also at intermediate and near for clinical studies with Multifocal Intraocular Lenses or Multifocal Contact Lenses.  Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.  The application is based on a single payment with an optional PRO subscription that provides further functionalities.  Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.  If you want to access to the PRO services you have to buy a PRO auto-subscription for 29.99€ (prices can vary between countries) for a period of 1 year.  This application can be used in vision science research to test CSF at any distance from 40 cm to 4 meters.  The payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.  The ClinicCSF includes an optional PRO auto-renewable subscription.  You can access our webpage to view all the research validation papers or the authors that have used the App in their research.  3.- Uses standard brightness properties obtained from the average of the calibration from several iPads.  9.- Calibrated considering several iPad models or the possibility of a personalized calibration.
