GyPSy Guide’s narrated driving tour for Arches and Canyonlands National Parks is an excellent way to enjoy all the benefits of a guided tour while you explore at your own pace.  There are 200+ audio points that play automatically along the scenic drive, featuring the best things to see and do, stories, tips and driving directions.  Tours work offline using free GPS signal and location services, so no data roaming, network, or Wi-Fi is required while touring.  With two parks to visit and a long list of things to do, you’ll appreciate our recommendations for how to prioritize your time best when exploring Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.  GyPSy Guide™ produces award-winning narrated audio tours along scenic drives and road trips around the world.  Our tours are enjoyed by travelers who prefer to set their own pace and itinerary on vacation, but enjoy a fun, informative and educational guided experience while driving themselves.  Wi-Fi-only iPad models have limited location service capabilities and are unable to play commentary automatically.  Plays commentary automatically as you drive so you don't miss any of the best places to visit, plus stories, tips and directions.  The Museum of Moab is the best location to learn more about local Puebloan people, but a hike on the Aztec Butte Trail will take you to view their ancestral structures called granaries.  As we drive along the Grand View Point Road in the Island in the Sky District, there are a number of viewpoints that peer down into canyons eroded by the Colorado and Green Rivers.  Plan to arrive early with coffee if you want to capture the Mesa Arch sunrise image with other eager photographers, or enjoy a late sundowner.  We’ll rehash a quick geology lesson, so you understand and appreciate the multiple geological forces at work required to create these amazing features.  But the tour is not all about rocks, there are stories about some unique characters who were drawn here and more about the delicate ecosystem that sustains a surprising amount of diversity.  Both tours begin and end on the drive to and from Moab, or join anywhere along the tour route.  The audio can play through your car’s Apple CarPlay and Android Auto display, please note that the map will display only on your phone.  Please note only the iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular models of iPad contain a GPS chip.  We strongly recommend taking a cigarette style (DC outlet) car charge to keep your phone charged, and avoid charging through the USB port.  Avoid using a direct connection to the USB port of a rental vehicle as this can cause audio issues.  We’ll lead you to the most popular ones like Delicate Arch, Double Arch and Landscape Arch.  You must download the app ahead of time over Wi-Fi (recommended) or cellular data.  Visit for route maps, sample commentary and tips and advice.  And others such as Skyline Arch and Devils Garden area if you have more time.  ** iPad models must include a GPS chip.  Once downloaded, you can tour offline without cell service.  The apps are larger in size in order to work offline.  Arches National Park alone has over 2,000 arches throughout the park.  Our goal is to provide a great introduction to the region and inspire you to learn more and return.  ++ Continued use of GPS/Location Services in the background increases battery usage.  None of our apps include paid advertising or placements for benefit.  Listen directly from your phone or connect to the car stereo via Bluetooth.
