*PlantwisePlus Factsheets have been produced for: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, China, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Ghana, Grenada, Honduras, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia. We’ve created the PlantwisePlus Factsheets app so that Plant Doctors, extension workers and farmers can have free access to the full range of the most up-to-date, relevant material with the safest advice, on mobile devices. Access free practical and safe crop health content, written by country experts. Download a country pack to access relevant crop health content which can then be accessed offline. The app will periodically check our servers for updates to factsheets so it’s possible to keep you informed about what experts consider to be today’s safest and most effective management techniques. The Plant Diagnosis Tool, powered by Plantix, allows you to submit a photo of your affected crop, and get guidance on what is affecting it, and how to manage this problem. Wherever you are, browse our library of clear, practical and safe advice for tackling crop problems. PlantwisePlus is a global programme, led by CABI, to increase food security and improve rural livelihoods by reducing crop losses. The Crop Sprayer tool will help to make the calculations required to ensure crop protection products are applied as you intended. We work with countries to provide good advice to farmers at local plant clinics, and now this advice is available in your factsheet library wherever you go. They give a quick outline of how to recognize a crop problem, background information, and step-by-step instructions on how to manage the issue. Factsheets are validated by technical reviewers to check that the recommendations are safe and follow approved scientific principles. Download factsheets for your country* and access them anytime, on- or offline. PlantwisePlus factsheets are written by partners in PlantwisePlus countries specifically for farmer needs. You can choose to download a pack with or without images depending on your internet connectivity and available device storage. Factsheets may go into detail about one particular management technique or may list several management options. The app calculates the amount of product concentrate to use, the total amount of product required and the number of tanks required to spray an area. Localised weather information is also shown, to help support decisions around when to apply recommended practices. The app is available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Nepali and Swahili.
