The app contains animations of the battlefield, 20 films, more than 50 pictures and many in-depth texts about relevant places, the actual battle and society in the 17th century.  • Actors act as eyewitnesses to the battle and through the films you meet the people of that time and hear them talk about their experiences.  The app The Battle of Lund was made as a joint teacher and student project at Katedralskolan in Lund 2015 – 2017.  • With GPS technology you may find your own position on the map while simultaneously view important places and the animation of the battle.  Watch films where the kings of Sweden and Denmark tell you about their thoughts on the battle.  • With the help of an animation you can study the course of the Battle of Lund and how it was decided.  • In the app you may, for example, learn how the soldiers lived, where the mass grave is situated and when the monument of the battle was erected.  The app brings one of the most important battles of the Swedish Era of Great Power to life.  Meet the individual soldier, the poor farmer’s wife and many more.
