In Tap to learn the name of a bone is displayed and you're supposed to tap the correct bone.  You're supposed to select the correct name from a list of bones below the image.  The list always contains the correct answer as well as bones with similar names.  At the start only three bones are quizzed, but more are added as long as you submit correct answers.  Names that are used in an everyday setting (for example knee cap) and medical settings (for example patella) are included, and clearly distinguished between.  For example, if the bone trapezium is displayed the list always contains trapezoid as well.  To ensure correct terminology the names are verified using several anatomical textbooks and the Terminologia Anatomica.  For example, if you make a mistake the correct answer is displayed and you're given another attempt.  Incorrect replies also cause those bones to be more likely to appear again, thus focusing you're study effort where it is most needed.  Bones of the body is designed to rapidly teach you the name of all the bones in the body.  This makes sure that you learn to distinguish between bones that are easy to mix up.  In Spin to learn an image with a highlighted bone is presented.  An atlas is also provided in case you want to look up the name of a particular bone.  Quizzing has two modes; Tap to learn and Spin to learn.  In addition to English the names in Latin are included.  Both quiz modes are designed to be pedagogical.  Double tap to submit the reply.  This way the difficulty gradually increases based on your performance.
