Discreetly housed in the casing of a classical timepiece is technology that keeps tabs on your daily activity, provides traveler with local and world time/weather, turn-by-turn navigation, in addition to hot keys for Camera/Music control/Find My Phone features and even a sophisticated mechanical compass.  The heart of the analog is not a traditional movement but a state of the art “triple bi-directional gearbox”, which means the developer can configure the traditional watch hands (hour, minute and second) to do much more that telling time (e.g. compass and event alert).  The Oskron is the first hybrid smartwatch powered by VeliGear platform that combines the look and functionality of a traditional watch with abilities that are evident in today’s smartwatches.  Of course, the watch handles smartphone notifications seamlessly.  The HealthKit is used to synchronize step counts in the activity mode.
