Download THF Connect to transform your visit to the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation with audio tours, AR content, an interactive map and more.  How does THF Connect know where you are? The Henry Ford has placed more than 500 Bluetooth beacons throughout the museum.  THF Connect provides detailed directions from your location to anywhere in the museum—making it easier for you to follow an audio tour, or find restrooms, food, exits and more.  Add a virtual layer to artifacts at the museum, and create your own AR “Mashup” from pieces of The Henry Ford’s collection.  Dive deeper into the stories and artifacts around you, and explore connections across exhibits with immersive audio tours.  As you follow turn-by-turn directions, hear from the museum’s curators as they tell stories of triumph, discovery and failure.  The Henry Ford does not track or store guest locations—this feature is strictly for your convenience.  Locate and learn about featured artifacts throughout the museum with THF Artifact Cards.  Unlock stories that cross exhibits with exclusive audio tours from our curators.  Explore artifacts and collections in virtual space with augmented reality—and even create your own virtual innovation.  Discover activities at the museum, from upcoming events to hands-on experiences on the museum floor.  For members of The Henry Ford, access your membership card to activate your benefits across the campus.  The app responds to your location in the museum, alerting you to nearby experiences.  Your phone then provides your location and provides turn-by-turn directions.  - Our free Guest Wifi varies in strength throughout the museum.  Find your way to your favorite objects with our map and intuitive turn-by-turn directions.  Tap the search icon at any time to find a specific artifact, amenity, or content within the app.  These beacons emit a signal that your phone detects, with Bluetooth enabled.  Keep track of your in-app activity, allowing you to revisit your discoveries at home.  - Bluetooth must be turned on for full functionality.  Continued use of GPS running in the background may dramatically decrease battery life.  Please alert us if you have any issues.
