Head Shadow is an iPhone hearing aid app for people with single-sided deafness or mild hearing loss in both ears.  If you have mild hearing loss in both ears, play the Head Shadow app with any headphones you currently own.  The Head Shadow app’s equalizer sliders can fine-tune the amplification of all ten frequencies of standard audiograms obtained from a hearing test.  The app then captures sounds near the bottom iPhone microphone, amplifies them, and plays them on your headphones.  Then, the app’s audio equalizer amplifies the sounds and plays on wired headphones or AirPods.  Play the app to capture sounds on the side of your deaf ear, amplify and cross to the AirPod in your hearing ear.  When you play the app, the iPhone or AirPods microphone captures the nearby sounds.  Activate the left or right microphone on AirPods when playing the Head Shadow app to aid in single-sided deafness.  We have developed a unique 10-band audio equalizer with Reverb options to amplify sounds captured by connected microphones.  On the App’s Reverb screen, you can select various spaces for reverberations of the microphone sounds.  Place the AirPod with the active microphone in your deaf ear and the other AirPod in your hearing ear.  The Head Shadow app is priced at a one-time purchase payment of $5 and has no ads and no subscriptions.  Just connect your headphones to your iPhone and play.  The app works on iPhone 5 original of 2012, and all the later iPhones.  You can try all features of the app for free, with no obligation to purchase for 30 days.  It also works on iPads.
