The application will bring you closer to all the attractions and services offered by the Park, educate you about the particularities that are truly worth visiting, and remind you that the Park is at the same time a miracle of nature and an ultimate monument of the rich cultural and historical heritage of its region.  Events – Get up-to-date information from the National Park Krka about what is happening in the Park, about its rich program and activities for visitors.  Activities – Display of all activities you can try out in the Park, e.g. cycling trails, educational trails and view points, various workshops, excursions, speleology activities and many more.  Map – Use the park map to find sites, activities, info points and locate services.  It was formed to protect the Krka River and is intended primarily for scientific, cultural, educational, recreational, and tourism activities.  Services – Display of all services provided by Park, such as souvenir shops, places to eat, guided tours etc.  Waterfalls – Display of all Krka’s breath taking waterfalls inside the Park.  Historical heritage – Find here all historic sites inside the park.  Including the submerged part of the river at the mouth, the Krka River is 72.5 km long, making it the 22nd longest river in Croatia.  The travertine waterfalls of the Krka River are the fundamental phenomenon of this river.  Find all the entrances and visitor centers in the park and plan your route accordingly.  It is the seventh national park in Croatia and was proclaimed a national park in 1985.  Info – Learn about river Krka and her flora and fauna.  With its seven waterfalls and a total drop in altitude of 242 m, the Krka is a natural and karst phenomenon.  Photo gallery – Each item has its photo gallery where you can view the beautiful photos from every selected location.  It springs in the foothills of the Dinara mountain range, 2.5 km northeast of Knin.
