Hop on a regular London bus and let your phone be your tour guide! The Window Seat Guide app tells you the stories behind some of London’s best known sights but also uncovers the hidden gems and lets you discover new areas of the city.  New for 2021 – We are now also adding a few select walking tours, including the Windsor Walking Tour.  Avoid roaming and data charges by downloading the app and your tour while on Wi-Fi.  The tour runs off-line but you must ensure your GPS is on for the geo-location to work.  Travel like a local but transform an ordinary journey into a truly immersive and entertaining experience.  If the app is still running in the background it will continue to use battery power so make sure to close it when you don’t need it.  You can do the whole route in one go, or hop off at any stop to explore on foot and get back on a bus again later.  See the Ticket Information page within the app for more details.  Buy your bus ticket through TfL as usual.
