Businesses and other suppliers ranging from small regional coffee shops, mechanical repairers and hotels to multinational retailers can list discounts and offers exclusively for ES Volunteers, with the ability to choose which volunteers have access to their offer.  As well as providing this valuable information to volunteers and important general statistics for their whole service, if a user chooses to log their GPS coordinates while at an incident, the record may be useful as evidence to in future health claims etc.  The ES Volunteers app is an indispensable tool for volunteers who provide essential services such as firefighters, paramedics, surf lifesavers and search and rescue personnel.  The ES Volunteers app was developed by the not-for-profit peak body for the volunteers of one of Australia’s largest emergency services in partnership with an Australian development company.  - Discounts and deals offered exclusively to essential and emergency service volunteers by nearby businesses.  Managers of services that are not yet registered should contact ES Volunteers to arrange to have the app made available to volunteers of that service.  This app is free for all volunteers of registered essential services.  A sophisticated web app will soon be launched that will allow volunteer users to manage their details and generate free reports of time spent and the location and types of work undertaken.  Suppliers can choose who sees their offer by location, service type and even by specific Brigade/Group/Unit.  The web app will also enable authorised volunteer Brigade/Group/Unit leaders to add and verify the volunteer users within their team.
