Please remember to provide positive reinforcement to help support your child as they work towards their goal.  Once the chart is on the wall, it provides great visual indication of the goal and the progress.  Surprisingly, that worked! Even though she could not help herself 2 out of 7 days, she did not get discouraged and finished her goal in 9 days.  Little Orc app allows you to conveniently select a picture of the toy you choose, define tasks, and print the chart right from the app.  We decided to create a goal for her: if she came back to the car when told, every day, for one week, she would earn a toy.  The idea is very simple: you pick a few skills for the child to master and set a reward.  We used to go to the park with her every evening, and she would frequently be upset when it was time to leave, sometimes even throwing tantrums.  And remember, the Teddy Bear is waiting for you!" - typical conversation for the first few charts.  Instead of printing traditional chore chart, this app take a bit different approach.  So we created a method that works all the time.  In sport it is called "Skills Clinic".  Note that this method does not have "every day" component.  Did not do it today? No problem! "I am sure you will succeed tomorrow! Just try a bit harder.  And in 3 weeks the problem was solved completely.  And the reward for this is a toy which you can select together.  It all started with our 3 year old daughter.  And if she missed a day, she can make it up the next day.  If one day they did not get out of bed on time, show compassion! Your encouragement and love will help them stay focused and motivated.
