Your child may choose from a wide range of core curriculum subjects (Geography, Spelling, History, Reading, Science and Math) An array of age appropriate concepts and facts are reviewed through positive reinforcement.  Finally, an awesome, interactive, learning tool designed for your grade school Smarty! This application consists of 26 lessons that review and 26 corresponding mini games for repetition and reinforcement.  Does your child know when Columbus Day and other important holidays are? This and more when your child taps on the Calendar level.  Learn important dates and view major pieces of technology in History of Technology.  What do plants need in order to live? Smarty Shortz will teach you! Review how an apple gets to the table, the rain cycle, and metamorphosis.  Spelling- Visually connect high frequency words to objects and then practice reading and writing them! Locate words with similar sounds and patterns.  As we grow, lessons from K-12 will be introduced as will the depth per grade level of Smarty Shortz.  Then your child will have a blast twisting and turning by playing putt-putt to strengthen the recall of all these important dates.  Continue increasing your knowledge about important events in the American History level.  History- Recognize the Mona Lisa and other significant pieces of art in the Art History level.  Children learn best when concepts are presented in a fun, visually appealing, hands-on approach with repetition.  Reading- Help reinforce and increase your young scholar’s literacy skills by following along with stories that are read aloud (if he/she chooses).  Reinforce the spelling of the word by helping Smarty through a visual and kinesthetic approach.  SmartyShortz LLC is a member of Moms with Apps, a collaborative group of family-friendly developers seeking to promote quality apps for kids and families.  Developed by a creative designer, educator, and developer who are first and foremost parents who want the best (who doesn’t?) for their children.  Then, unscramble words to form a complete sentence, “shoot” complete sentences, and answer comprehension questions.  Once a short lesson is completed correctly your child is rewarded immediately by a mini game.  Science- Locate and learn the key components on a plant.  Identify what all short stories should have- a beginning, middle, and end.  Geography- Figure out and locate the continents and oceans.  *Just one app of many to come.
