  Excellent and cheap

  Full newspaper articles, easy to read thanks to excellent app. Missing one thing: a copy of the front page of the real newspaper.

  Works fairly well, but not as slick as others

  I use the Times’ app as well as the Guardian’s, in order to get different impressions of British news. Though the Times’ app is functional and appears to be bug-free, it is nowhere near as slick as the Guardian’s. For instance: it will not adjust automatically to a landscape format if one’s device is tilted, or, it is incapable of remembering the order in which I prefer to read comments. Finally, navigating the site via the app reveals a lack of consistent organisation.

  Misses a Digital Page-Turning Newspaper Option

  The dispatch of all the articles into different sections to scroll through is ok But what this app really needs is the option to open the virtual copy of the newspaper Journalism is also about front pages, page lay-out and so on This app completely misses the point of being able to turn pages All other newspapers provide this in their apps
