Alongside the Museum's intrepid young explorer, Lucy, kids will meet Viking characters and sea creatures, Pirate characters and objects, and travel to far-off tropical islands – creating and saving their own stories as they go.  Parents can also use the app to stay abreast of the museum's latest events, including the popular Family Fun Days, programs for Mini Mariners (under 5s) and activities for Kids on Deck (ages 5-12).  * Make colourful pictures with exciting characters like the museum's girl explorer Lucy, Dexter the cat, Vikings and their mythical sea serpents, and dolphins.  Lucy's Adventures, an app from the Australian National Maritime Museum, encourages children to explore our links with the sea through pictures, movies and puzzles.  Lucy's Adventures is a fun and safe way for the whole family to connect with the museum's fascinating stories about the sea and learn how it's shaped our lives.  Even better, this colourful and educational app keeps on entertaining children, with regular updates of new puzzles, themed backgrounds, characters, and objects.  It's a great way for kids aged 3 to 7 to stay entertained, hone important skills, and learn what one of the world's coolest museum's does.  *Keep the whole family informed about fun and educational museum events and activities.  * NEW - To coincide with our new 'Horrible Histories - Pirates: The Exhibition', we now have pirate-themed characters, objects, backgrounds and sounds.  *Send your creation to the museum if you wish to share it (note: in the interest of privacy, this function is disabled in default mode).  *Make movies by moving these characters and objects, and adding weather.  *Choose vibrant themed backgrounds from the app, or images and photos from your own library.  *Save your creations to share and show to others, or come back and edit them later.
