Our Tour Builder is open to the public - Signup on our website and start teaching others about your community.  The PocketSights Tour Guide allows you to take local walking tours on your iPhone.  If you'd prefer to stray from the path and not be confined to the tour route, you can take tours in "free roam" mode.  Virtual tours can also be enabled if you're not physically in the area or when you're planning your visit and want an overview of the tour.  When you get close enough to the point of interest, the location will display the photos, texts, audio, and videos added to the tour.  Anyone can develop tours and add a tour thumbnail to make your tours stand out.  The tour distance will display and provide directions to each point of interest.  Our goal is to provide an authentic experience that gives you the confidence and direction to explore and discover the places around you while learning about history and culture.  Tours are created by local organizations that know the best way for you to get around and see everything their community has to offer.  We all have a natural impulse to explore, but it can be intimidating to step outside of what you know.
