When not using the Akrapovič SoundKit Smartphone App the driver can still change the sound mode with the supplied Remote Controller.  The Akrapovič SoundKit App enables the driver to control the sound of the Akrapovič exhaust system from the car’s cockpit.  Using innovative Akrapovič technology, the exhaust can easily be switched between a quiet mode and a sportier sound.  This Smartphone App enables the driver to communicate with the receiver that drives the actuators which open or close the valves at the end of the exhaust system.  For a more evocative drive and to hear the full engine roar, just switch to the open mode option.  When cruising though the urban areas it is advisable to choose the closed mode option.
